Evelina and Dominic Wallen, along with Sky the Siberian Husky, play by the igloo they constructed at their home in the Prairie Star neighborhood after the record-breaking snow last week. Areas of the Front Range had not seen snow totals that high for more than three and a half years, and it was the snowiest November in Colorado since 1994. Residents of Berthoud saw snow totals from 13-18 inches. The wild weather continued later in the week with freezing fog and high wind warnings. Local weather watcher Don Ashcraft recorded an 86-mph gust of wind at his home in Berthoud on Sat. Nov. 30.
