Service and operation times of businesses and organizations
The current situation is fluid and hours of operation may change.
Grocery and Supermarkets
Hays Market: Berthoud location 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Costco: 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. They are limiting the number of shoppers allowed in the warehouse at one time to help with social distancing. Limits on certain items have been set.
Dollar General: Is dedicating the first hour of each shopping day to senior shoppers and will close an hour earlier than normal.
Dollar Tree: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
King Soopers: Stores open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Safeway 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sprouts: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m
Target: The first shopping hour of Wednesday will be reserved for customers who are considered “vulnerable” including the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. Stores will close at 9 p.m. for restocking.
Trader Joes: Will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Walmart: 24 hour stores will now be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sam’s Club: Sam’s Club locations will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. until further notice, effective Tuesday, March 17. Early shopping is also temporarily unavailable.
Whole Foods: Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and they will pause food-sampling and the use of self-service stations.
Pharmacy
Berthoud Drug: Normal hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. They offer free delivery Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are helping a loved one out right now you can have their prescriptions transferred to Berthoud Drug. Curbside pickup is available by calling when you arrive.
Walgreens: Offering free shipping with no minimum and prescription delivery is free.
CVS: Offers same-day delivery and prescription delivery is free.
Delivery Services
If you don’t want to leave your home you can order food to be delivered from services like Grubhub.com and doordash.com. Many Berthoud restaurants are available using these services as well surrounding areas.
Restaurants
Most restaurants in Berthoud are still operating for pickup, curbside or delivery. Hours and availability may change. The following are just a few of the local options.
Bradford’s Grub and Grog: Open 4 p.m. to 8 p.m lunch menu available for pickup.
Kofe House: Open regular hours, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., call ahead to order for pickup. Kofe Drive Thru and Kofe House are offering a free 16-ounce drink to any nurse, doctor or first responder until April 1.
Mi Cocina & Cantina: Pickup orders only, Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Rise Artisan Bread and Café: Fresh bread is stocked daily. Free breakfast and lunch being offered to students Monday to Friday for the duration of the school closure on a special “schools out” menu. Hours are 6 a.m. to 4 p.m daily.
Trailhead Café: Open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. call ahead to order, menus are available online, pickup inside or request curbside.
Retail
The Flower Gypsy: Local florist offering contactless delivery available for flower orders online at theflowergypsy.com.
Several shops in Berthoud are still open for business. Many have websites you can also order from. If you want to support businesses but don’t have a specific need right now, purchasing gift cards from these establishments will help. Please continue to support our local businesses.
Assistance
Berthoud House of Neighborly Service: Open regular hours Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are there to help the community with resources including food baskets. They do ask that if you are sick please call or text for assistance at 970-532-0161. Monetary, grocery and restaurant gift card donations are being accepted. Specific items include, peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, canned beans, canned fruit, canned soup, rice, cereal or oatmeal, baking mixes, milk, eggs, produce and toiletries including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap and dishwashing soap.
