The Soon-To-Be-Annual “Homies for the Holidays” Pet Fair!

Calling all pet lovers!  On Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7, you can make a paw-sitive impact in the local community by coming out to the soon-to-be-annual “Homies for the Holiday” event – a pet adoption fair hosted by Nature’s Herbs & Wellness, Colorado’s premier medical and recreational dispensary.

The company is partnering with the Weld County Humane Society to find homes for as many “furry homies” as possible, due to overcrowding issues at the shelter.  As people have started to return to work following COVID-19, there has been an influx of animal being dropped off at the shelters that need to find their furr-ever homes.  The goal is that at least 100 animals will be matched with new families at the fair, and people like you can make all the difference!

The weekend will be full of fun, music, games, and animal cuteness – happening both days from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wing Shack, home of the Milliken region’s best wings, will be serving up delicious food, hosting fun, interactive games for guests, and best of all, they will be donating a $25 gift card for each animal that’s adopted.  Nature’s Herbs and Wellness are adding to the incentive, having pledged $100 for each animal adopted which will go back to support the Weld County Humane Society.

Local radio stations will also be onsite, providing upbeat tunes and making sure that guests enjoy all their favorite hits while checking out the cutest animals that need to find their forever home.
