TPC Colorado hosting Best-Ball Tournament to benefit BHS golf teams
Special to the Surveyor
On Monday, Sept. 17, the TPC Colorado at Heron Lakes course will be hosting the inaugural Spartan Classic golf tournament to raise money for the Berthoud High School (BHS) golf teams. The Berthoud Lions Club will be managing registrations and participating in the event, from which all proceeds will go directly to the boys and girls golf teams.
The tournament will be a scramble format, and the plan is to have a BHS golfer joining each of the groups. Registration is $250 per person and includes the round of golf with golf cart, breakfast provided by Rise Bakery, a catered lunch provided by the Lions Club, and a live auction following the tournament, accompanied by music and drinks. Awards for longest putt, longest drive, closest to the pin, and most birdies will also be featured as will a hole-in-one opportunity to win a new car from Prestige Dodge.
Information on sign-ups and sponsorships can be found by contacting the Berthoud Lions Club or Sheila Haberkon at [email protected]
