The deadline to turn in the paperwork to run for Berthoud’s 4 positions on the town board ended Monday, Jan. 27, 2020. Six Berthoud residents filled out the necessary paperwork and have been vetted by Town Clerk Christian Samora. Running unopposed for mayor is the current mayor, Will Karspeck. Those running for 3 trustee positions are Mike Grace, Jeff Hindman, Brian Laak, May Soricelli and Lonnie Stevens. The election will be held April 7, 2020.

The Surveyor will be following up with information on each of the candidates and a community forum, where community members can address questions to the candidates. Information on date and location will be provided in a future paper.
