The Second Annual Berthoud Safety Fair is scheduled for June 18, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This year’s event will be at Grace Place, located at 375 Meadowlark Dr., and will be held in the parking lot.

Demonstrations include safety presentations by the Berthoud Fire Protection District, Larimer County K-9 unit, Larimer County Bomb Squad, Larimer County SWAT, Larimer County Search and Rescue and AIRLINK medical helicopter.

The event also includes a bike rodeo that will highlight correct bicycle safety check and proper helmet fittings. There’s also a safety course to instruct people and children on proper bicycle safety.

Parents of little ones will also be able to get informed on proper car seat installation.

There will be food and treats available for purchase. The event is sponsored by Berthoud Bicycle, Grace Place and the Berthoud Weekly Surveyor.
