Monday, July 25

Harassment/Intimidating a Victim/Retaliation Against a Victim/Menacing: Berthoud – A juvenile victim from a Violation of a Protection order called to say that a juvenile male threatened her by text after deputies had taken his mom to jail. Multiple texts showed the juvenile male threatened the victim and her family with bodily harm and told her to drop the charges. A warrant was issued for the juvenile’s arrest. The young man was arrested and transported to Platte Juvenile Facility in Greeley.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery/Theft:  Westport Avenue – A stolen Dingo skid steer from Frederick was recovered at this location. The Dingo was being used by a landscaping crew at this address to complete work. The suspect involved in the original vehicle theft was identified but he was not on scene. The Dingo’s internal GPS was removed and was not recovered. The investigation is ongoing. Must have been an Australian-made GPS if its name is Dingo.

Warrant Arrest:  Meadowlark Drive – A male was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant. He was subsequently booked into the Larimer County Jail.

Tuesday, July 26

Violation of a Protection Order:  Bunyan Avenue – A male was contacted after it was reported he was causing a disturbance at this location.  He was located in an alley where he was very uncooperative with paramedics and of course LCSO.  He was intoxicated which was a violation of three of his protection orders and was subsequently booked into the Larimer County Jail.

Warrant Arrest:  East Michigan Avenue – A female was contacted as the passenger during a traffic stop and was found to have a warrant for her arrest. She was booked into the Larimer County Jail.

False Reporting of Identifying Information/Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Driving Under Revocation/Warrant Arrest:  East Highway 56 – A female driver was contacted for traffic infractions. The female identified herself as her sister to avoid a warrant. Drug paraphernalia was located in plain view and methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle. The female was booked into the Larimer County Jail.

Harassment: Victoria Street – A female reported that a male who hired her to walk his dog began to send harassing and vulgar text messages to her repeatedly after the female asked him to stop several times. A warrant was issued for his arrest.  This man used the foulest names anyone could call another.

Wednesday, July 27

Unattended Death: Ellie Way – An adult female was found deceased in her home. Extensive history of health issues.

Driving Under Revocation: Fourth Street – A male was contacted and found to be driving with his license under revocation. He was issued a summons to court.

Thursday, July 28

Warrant Arrest: East Highway 56 – A male was contacted at a local business and booked for an outstanding warrant at the Larimer County Jail.

Displayed Fictitious Plates: West County Road 14 – A vehicle was located with fictitious registration tabs on the plate. The plates were seized. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft: Blue Mountain Avenue – A motorhome was sold and the new buyers agreed to leave the license plates at the seller’s house. A pair of license plates were left at the house, but it was found the plates were not the plates belonging to the motorhome.

Vehicle Elude: East Highway 56 – A black Dodge pickup truck with confirmed stolen plates affixed to it eluded deputies after a vehicle stop was attempted. The vehicle pursuit was terminated for public safety reasons. The driver of the vehicle was a white female and the passenger was a white male.
Friday, July 29

Vehicle Theft: Fodor Drive – A locked truck parked in front of the owner’s home was entered and stolen at approximately 1:45 am. The truck was later located on the side of the road with the neighbor’s patio furniture in the bed of the truck. Dumbest Criminal Alert: The suspects did not know how to work a manual transmission, so they gave up and dumped the truck.

Mental Health Hold: Victoria Street – A female was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital for a mental health hold.

Third-Degree Assault/Harassment/Disorderly Conduct: Skimmer Street – A male driver followed another vehicle to their residence after a road rage incident. The male driver aggressively approached the other driver and passenger at their home which resulted in a physical altercation. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, July 30

Theft: Curlew Drive – A male reported three checks were taken from his dresser in the last week. One of the checks was cashed by a possible suspect who had been at the residence with his son. The investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, July 31

Third-Degree Assault/Criminal Mischief/Domestic Violence: Jenny Lane – A male had reported his estranged wife came to the residence at 2:30 this morning to argue with him. The female broke a guitar, damaged a wall, punched the male in the face, kicked him in his thigh, and hit him in the face with her car keys causing a cut. The female was contacted in Loveland and admitted to a physical altercation, but would not elaborate further. She was subsequently arrested and booked into the Larimer County Jail.  Other than the damage and assaults, they had a nice visit.
