Gabriel Conde Memorial VFW Post No. 12189 and the American Legion Auxiliary Justin Bauer Memorial Unit 67 stand along Frontage Road near U.S. Highway 56. The group stood with flags to honor Baker 2nd Class David L. Kesler, 23, killed at Pearl Harbor during WWII, as his remains were transferred to his final resting place in Laramie, Wyoming. The Federal Protection Agency provided the Dignified Honors Motorcade from the Denver International Airport and were followed by police, fire, EMS units and motorcycles along the entire route.
