Laurie Lou Vasquez

April 20, 1954 – November 22, 2019

Laurie was born in Buffalo, New York April 20, 1954 and passed away at home in Berthoud, Colorado on Friday, November 22 at the age of 65. She leaves behind her daughter, Raegen Evans; son, Morgan Vasquez; grandchildren Jennifer, Jason, Jasmine, Jayden and Kole, 5 great-grandchildren and brother, Gregory Beck.

Laurie was a fixture at the Berthoud Community Center, she always had a smile to greet you when you walked in and she loved her conversations with the morning coffee drinkers. Laurie was always ready for something new and loved being a part of the community. When she wasn’t at the center, she was at home working in her garden or reading a book under the tree; every one that knew her knew she had a serious green thumb and was a book worm. Laurie will be greatly missed by those she touched every day.
