Ann Olander Burrow

Ann lived in many places throughout the United States, as her father was in the Navy, but Colorado was her favorite place of all and returned here to live her adult life. She spent her career in the health care field, working primarily with assisting the elderly as their care and comfort was a great passion of hers. After she retired, Ann took great joy in puttering around Berthoud, gardening, helping friends with their needs and spending time with her family. Ann lived at the Hamilton House Apartments and enjoyed organizing weekly coffees and parties with the other residents. Those that knew her have said she always had a smile for everyone she met and a story to share.

Ann is survived by her children, Jennifer (John) Miller of Berthoud, Annie (Brian) Smith-Blaise of Littleton, Sterling (Lori) Herman of Centennial. Her son, Joseph preceded her in death. Ann’s grandchildren, Nicole Herman, Fallon (Dave) Dundon-Harris, Jeffrey Shields, Alison Miller and Beau Matthews, all brought her great joy. Ann had numerous nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog, Baby.

Ann was the oldest of 4 children and is survived by her brothers, Roger (Sharon) Olander, Byron (Margo) Olander and Eric Olander.

Due to the challenging time the country is facing, the family will hold a private celebration of her life when the conditions allow us to do so.
