Community Preparedness Fair

Life can change in an instant. Being prepared can help us through troubling times.

The Carter Lake Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites all community members to join them for a Preparedness Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 at its Berthoud meeting house, 550 Spartan Ave., Berthoud.

Presentations will focus on a wide range of emergency preparedness issues, including water and food storage; making 72-hour kits; navigating a crisis; emergency power/electrical safety and more.  In addition, representatives from Red Cross, Berthoud Fire and Larimer County Emergency Management will attend. A class on legal issues (power of attorney, medical directives, wills and trusts) will be held at 11:30.
