Community Foundation invites funding requests
Special to the Surveyor
The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado announces that its annual competitive grant cycle opens July 1.
One way the Community Foundation supports local nonprofits is through annual grants. Charitable organizations seeking funding for their work benefiting Berthoud, the Estes Valley, or Loveland communities are invited to submit a grant application to be considered by grantmaking committees based in each community.
An agency located in Fort Collins may submit a grant application to the Berthoud, Loveland or the Estes Valley grantmaking committees as long as the agency’s funding request meets the criteria. Please note that the Community Foundation only makes grants to 501(c)(3) charitable entities, educational institutions, churches and municipalities.
Application forms will be available on the Foundation’s website (NoCoFoundation.org/nonprofits/grants) beginning July 1 and will be accepted until 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
During the 2019 competitive grant cycle, the Community Foundation — through the Estes Valley Community Fund committee, Berthoud Community Fund committee and Loveland Generations fund committee — distributed more than $199,000 to nonprofit agencies that directly serve Berthoud, Estes Valley and Loveland residents,
Nonprofit agencies with questions about applying for a grant can send an email to [email protected] or call the Elizabeth Messerli, donor services manager, at 970- 488-1986.
