Berthoud Youth Advisory Commission

The Berthoud Youth Advisory Commission (BYAC) hosted a “collaboration” meeting on Monday, April 30, at town hall. Local youth-based groups, clubs and organizations were invited to discuss goals and ideas on how to work alongside each other to empower and support the youth of Berthoud. Main topics discussed were connecting middle school and high school students and creating comradery among the many high school clubs and organizations. Also, BYAC is hosting a “Star Wars” movie night at Turner Middle School (TMS) on Friday, May 4, at 6 p.m. They hope to bring awareness of the BYAC to TMS students by engaging them in an evening of fun in a familiar atmosphere.
