Berthoud VFW Post – Spc. Gabriel Conde Memorial

Berthoud now has its own chartered VFW named the Berthoud VFW Post – Spc. Gabriel Conde Memorial. The post was instituted on April 30 at Berthoud High School. The event honored Spc. Conde for his service and sacrifice a year to the date after he was killed during an operation in Afghanistan. Above: The charter members of the newly organized Berthoud VFW Post 12189 – Spc. Gabriel Conde Memorial being sworn in. Gabe’s great-uncle Monse Conde (wearing black cowboy hate) is one of the chartered members which will also include 18 members of Gabe’s unit.
